These works are meant to represent “Liminality”.
Liminality as a term first appeared in 20th century to describe the situation of being in a transition, and/or to be on the verge of change. In each liminal situation, a kind of breakage, suspension, doubtfulness, transformation or ambiguity occurs. It is the stage
in between, where you left the previous situation but not entered the next yet.
I precisely talk about this borderline point in human’s lives, a place where people stand doubtful in between two different paths to follow. The point where only by means of an honest confrontation with self, one can decide on which side of this borderline he wants to set foot.
Is it really necessary to choose? Isn’t it the best to stay in a neutral safe zone?
In other worlds, I explore spaces where everything is stopped until the fateful decision is made, spaces full of some sort of instability, fear, indecisiveness and above all loneliness.
Human beings born alone, experience life alone and die alone.
